The Monitors Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation established under the laws of the State of Minnesota in 1998. It is the philanthropic arm of The Monitors Club, founded in 1955.
Our primary mission is to support programs targeted at fostering and enhancing the academic, leadership and social skills of youth in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area.
To fulfill our mission, we identify and support organizations that share our vision and operate effective programs that improve the quality of life and outcomes for youth, with an emphasis on African American males.
Since 2012, we have awarded over $200,000 in grants to various non-profit organizations in support of specific programs while still growing our endowment to strategically position us to award larger grants in the future.
Below you will find programs to which organizations may apply for grant funds that advance their mission.
